Wedding Details
I love details. When shooting in a wedding, it is my number 1 assignment to shoot all the details available in the bride's and groom's room. Automatic, yun agad hinahanap ko pagpasok ng hotel room ng bride at maging sa reception :) [....and yeah, there's Osep, chatting and shooting pics with everyone in the room haha].
It always fascinates me, and yes, excites me, to shoot every time i am being handed with different, unique, colorful details! It challenges me as well to be imaginative of creating simple things into out of the ordinary [with all my best]. Then there, i go transform into a muted, secretive photographer - setting my eyes and hands seriously and creatively [as best as i can] with the wedding details :)
Here's a collection of some of my shots of wedding details. Photos are in random order from different weddings we have covered. I hope you will enjoy it :)

My Camera and Pen...
Haha! Welcome to my BLOGsite!!! Finally, i made a new one after several years of not having OR updating one. i had blogsites before but i could not remember the passwords at all. And even if i do resurrect them, i still prefer to create a new one since i want everything clean from scratch. That's just one of my personalities: i want anything clean from scratch haha [LOL].
By the way, i am Mimi from OSEPMIMI Photography [OM]. Just in case, some couples get to visit this site - so it won't be confusing though :)
So what made me create this blog? I have 2 reasons:
1. To bring back my camera. Nope. It wasn't stolen. It was.....neglected? Photography has been my interest ever since OM evolved. With this, i want to have my own personal "photoblog", distinct from OM. With this blog, it's just me, my own creation, the natural me, my camera when i am alone walking, observing, thinking - which is just soooo different when i am working for OM [haha]. And i...miss doing this! :)
[Below are some of my collection of travel photos from 2005-2008. Camera used: Point and Shoot only HARHAR]
Places above:
Catarman [tree shadow & clouds], Tagaytay sunrise, UP Diliman [moon], Quezon City sunset [view from Pisay], Fairview [broken bench].
Places above:
Ilocos [sunset], Singapore [tunnel & jellyfish], Vigan
AND....
2. To bring back my pen. Neither was this pen stolen. It was....unheeded? To my surprise, something from the past awakened my love for writing - my old journals! And oh how i loved the odour of the old pages [XD]. Nakakatuwa at nakakatawang basahin ulit ang mga nakaraaan. Waahahahaaa [grin].
Look how masipag i was back then. I would collect notes, cards from friends and even details of my everyday life: movie ticket, coins, drawings, etc! and organize them in one album!
And wow. "With honors" pala ako noon. Waahahahhaaaa.

"The mute hours groped for an “embrace” with a thought that
somehow it could break the silence and unbosom the shivered self within her. But there was none. Time just slipped away with long stares, hard tears and empty
words. From there, she ran. She let go of the restless conversations with herself, stepped
out of her agitated thoughts and finally felt the need to succumb her
helplessness to Him. Gethsemane . A place to go when
there is no place to go but God. Her fragility listened to His tranquility. Her muteness received empathy from His soul overwhelmed with
sorrow during the night He went to Gethsemane . Just as she is today, He was in a deep distress and trouble. He uttered the words she has been struggling to express. He knows. He understands. He did not wag an accusatory finger nor push her away for being
mute. She did not hear Him say, “I am disappointed in you.” His affirming arm around her shoulder wrapped the hole in her
character. The struggle is undone yet. Her renewed strength might loosen again. But His grace and patience will not end. For He Who began the good work in her will be able to complete
it." ~~~
